Pins and pin plates are the most crucial fastening and connecting components in the aluminum formwork system. They achieve rigid connections between formworks through the "pin through plate + pin plate wedging" method, which is a key accessory for ensuring the overall rigidity of the aluminum formwork, preventing bulging, and maintaining the accuracy of the formed shape.


Pins (Core Connecting Components)

Structure: Composed of a pin cap (head) and a pin rod (with pin holes), with a transverse long hole in the middle of the pin rod for inserting the pin plate.

Material: Q235B / 45# steel, solid cold heading forming, high strength and good toughness.

Surface treatment: Natural color, galvanized / zinc chromate (anti-rust).

Common specifications (diameter × length):

Standard pins: Φ16×52mm, Φ16×54mm (most commonly used, suitable for standard aluminum formwork).

Extended pins: Φ16×83mm, Φ16×100mm, Φ16×140mm (used for thick plates, back楞, and square tubes connection).


Pin plates (Wedge Locking Components)

Structure: Wedge-shaped thin plates, one end wide and the other end narrow, with U-shaped or straight slots, self-locking after being knocked in.

Material: Q235B / 45# steel, stamped forming, hardness HRC38–42.

Common specifications (thickness × length):

Standard pin plates: 3.0×70mm, 3.5×70mm (most commonly used).

Arc / Bent pin plates: Easier to tighten and prevent loosening due to vibration, suitable for smooth formwork surfaces.
